The world’s best parties, each and every Sunday at Eden Ibiza throughout the summer
Now in its 12th season, Judgement Sundays has long summoned the world’s finest electronic music artists and DJs to San Antonio’s best-loved super club, Eden. Curated by Judge Jules, and designed to showcase both the dance scene’s elite alongside the most promising rising talent of the future, Judgement Sundays has grown into a musical Mecca of Sunday holiday hedonism. It is deservedly one of Ibiza’s busiest and most highly-rated club nights.
In annual tradition, the iconic Ibiza Sunday night party will run over sixteen weeks and boast an explosive selection of A-list performers. Joining Judge Jules over the course of the summer will be Dutch titan Sander Van Doorn, Eddie Halliwell (who was recently shortlisted for the accolade of 'Greatest DJ of all Time'), Cosmic Gate, Richard Durand and Marco V, spinning alongside star producer Simon Patterson, Lisa Lashes, Marcel Woods, as well as residents Vicky Devine and Tristan D. Trance purists Woody Van Eyden & Alex M.O.R.P.H. will also be featured, bringing with them Germany’s #1 electronic music station Sunshine Radio; broadcasting live from Ibiza. 2011 also sees the return of two international doyens of dance music in the mighty Ferry Corsten and trance evangelist John O’Callaghan. As always, Judgement Sundays continues to support emerging talent, tapping into the heartbeat of the new breed scene with the hugely exciting Dutchman Ummet Ozcan, UK shining stars Matt Zo and Jordan Suckley, as well as the new World #1 Female DJ Claudia Cazacu and, lest we forget, Russian trance sensation, Arty – who proved his producer qualities with his recent chart topping anthem ‘Zara’.
Not content with a mainroom schedule bursting at the seams with standout musical exports, Judgement has continued the theme in the second room. The music policy is gelled together by a host of slick names including regulars Micky Slim, Alex Ellenger, Tristan Ingram, on top of the unavoidable deck-wizardry of Krafty Kuts and JS favourite Howard Donald. Other names stacking up the line ups include talented pairing The Squatters, The Gallery’s Gavyn Mytchel, Dumb Blonde, Jonty Skruff, Tom Koenig, plus dubstep’s youngest sensation Jacob Plant.
New to the music programme in 2011 is the expansion of the Judgement sound, featuring a ‘bassline’ policy in the third room. The ‘Dub n Bass’ room will serve as one of the only places on the island you can hear dubstep & drum n bass collide, with a uniquely Ibiza-flavoured party twist.
With a sixteen week run of roadblock parties and all manner of tricks up their sleeves, Judgement Sundays are looking good for 2011.
