Vicky Devine’s success as a DJ is growing year on year gaining amazing recognition for her talent and ability behind the decks as well as receiving increasing worldwide support from the biggest artists in the industry for her productions..

Vicky has been involved in music in some capacity throughout most of her life. Reaching Grade 6 in Piano, playing classical guitar and being a member of a singing group throughout her school life, she was quickly enticed into the dance music world and has worked within the industry ever since!!!!

Beginning as a club reviewer and interviewer for M8, Dream and Eternity magazines, she then went on to dance on stage and work in various promotional roles for a number of UK based events. There was always a DJ inside though and she was soon behind the decks spending hours after college learning how to mix. This coupled with her passion for music, endless enthusiasm and perseverance has helped build her career and has made her one of the most established female DJ’s and producers in the current dance music scene. As a result Vicky has gone on to wow fans in the UK, and indeed around the world with a reputation built on her uplifting yet driving trance sets, although versatile Vicky is just as recognised for her house sets as well. She’s played at numerous nights in the UK including Gatecrasher, The Gallery (Turnmills), MOS, Pams House, Slinky (Westfest Festival), Escape (Swansea), Passion (Coalville), Tranzaction and on a worldwide level including on the SLINKY Asia tour in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, the SMIRNOFF EXPERIENCE tour in India and at clubs in Canada, South America, Mexico, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai, Australia and New Zealand to name but a few.

Over the years Vicky has been a regular guest at many clubs and bars in Ibiza and this eventually led to her gaining a weekly main room residency at Judge Jules’s massive JUDGEMENT SUNDAYS night at Eden sice 2005. Playing both the warm up and close down sets at the busiest night in San Antonio has meant her playing regularly alongside many of the leading names in today’s trance scene, as well as establishing her name as one of the favourite Ibiza residents both with the DJ’s and clubbers alike. Her dedication to the scene and her performances worldwide have not gone un-noticed, and in 2008 Vicky was voted 5th in the Best Residents Category in the well respected Trance Awards Poll powered by Trackitdown.net.

On the production front Vicky has also seen much success. She had early productions as part of collaborations released on Infectious Distribution (Sweet Asylum), Solar Records (Angelz) and F Active Music (Fearing Nothing), before moving onto working on solo productions and developing her own sound. She has gone on to have releases on Spinnin, Fraction Records, Recoverworld (Flux Delux), Insatiable, and Drizzly Records with corresponding remixes from some of the scenes most recognizable names and emerging stars. Her tracks have also been supported by some of trance’s biggest hitters including Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Gareth Emery, Ernesto vs Bastian, Aly and Fila, Christopher Laurence and Dave Pearce, have had amazing reviews in top music magazines IDJ, Mixmag and M8, plays on some of the biggest Radio Shows and Podcasts and have featured on numerous mix compilations. Never one to rest on her laurels, Vicky’s studio itinery for 2010 is already jam packed with further exciting releases and collaborations already planned.

Radio has played a massive part in Vicky’s career to date and is something she was also involved with from a very early stage. Having provided Ibiza reports and interviews for MOS Radio, Galaxy FM, Kiss 100 FM and Bournemouth’s Fire 107.6FM, and having also hosted her own show on Ibiza dance music station Holiday FM . More recently she has become the main presenter for WTFI which involves her interviewing DJ’s and producing content for video clips and DVD’s.

‘Vicky has been our Judgement Sundays Ibiza resident for five years, and never fails to ignite the crowd. Her music style and persona behind the decks are second to none.’ - Judge Jules.

‘“Vicky Devine is definitely one of the reasons why I enjoy DJing at Judgement Sundays in Ibiza so much, its hard to find a DJ who can do a proper warm up set without taking anything away from the music I want to play in a club. I have stayed around to hear her closing set and it has just as much impact as her opening sets. If I was a promoter I would want her involved in my night!” - Sander Van Doorn.
